Your Driving Record

When you obtain a driver license in the state of New Jersey, the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) opens a record in your name.

If you are ever ticketed for a traffic violation, your record will reflect that information, including the point accumulation for each violation. Your record will also contain information on convictions, suspensions, revocations, and even some accidents.
